We had booked another hotel in advance actually, for our recent trip to Manali - Kullu and this was in view of the likely busy and long weekend of Good Friday - Easter. Our travel was via the HRTC and as luck would have it, our bus which was likely to have reached well past 9 am or even later, as some of the reviews would have it; reached much ahead of time. In fact, we were much ahead of time and had reached Manali before 8:30 am. We were now a bit tentative as we were early and even though we had confirmed hotel bookings, we could be at the mercy of the hotel. And on this apprehension, we were not wrong. We spoke with the hotel that had our bookings, but they proved to be as helpful as the inn keeper that refused rooms to the holy family 2000 years back in Bethlehem. And here we were as a family, with our two daughters, one who is seven in tow, with absolutely no clue if we could check in some where and just get fresh after a grueling 12 hours plus road trip. We were then fortunate to run into a helpful taxi driver who volunteered to speak to someone. And that is how we landed up at the Hotel Beas View. We were initially planning to check in for a few hours for us to just freshen up and then proceed further to the other hotel. However, we found that the location of the hotel was very scenic and beautiful. It is built just on the overlooking cliff of the River Beas and from the garden we could have a clear view of the snow clad mountains. The rooms were also pretty good in quality. The hotel manager was quite accommodating and generous we thought. We had checked into the hotel by 9 am, well before the official check-in time and were already freshening up and ordering and having a great breakfast in the next hour. The local taxi driver also enlightened us on the other hotel, and that the location of the hotel was actually via a lane that would take us to the property. His verdict too, which we discovered over our stay of 3 days and 2 nights, was quite professional and valuable, was that the Beas View was going to be much better than the other one. (for obvious reasons I have not mentioned them here. However, if any traveler would like to know it I can share it with them personally). The other hotel I felt was not at all hospitable or helpful, which is the reason for my decision to cancel the booking there. The Beas View has other amenities like a restaurant. They offer room service too. And we have literally gorged ourselves on the sumptuous food rustled up by the chef here. Absolutely delicious, lip-smacking aloo parathas, upma, aloo poha, khickdi!!! However, we have not given a rating of five as the quality of the bathroom could have been better. In our case, we found that the wash basin area which had been repaired, was a source of constant collection of water, which could be very irritating and troublesome in the cold climate and also with a child of 7 years. The hotel is also very close to the Mall Road, in fact only walking distance of about 10-12 minutes of leisurely walk.

Beas view was the first and the foremost choice whenever I visit with my family. I had been to this hotel many a times. I always enjoy the stay and view from my room. Food is also good. I had old memories of my good times. Will visit you soon.

Stayed here for one night and booked the place on the go. The hotel is located on the banks of Beas river and offers great views from the room. The property gives a dated feel and needs renovation particularly, the toilet. Ample parking available at the property. It is within a few minutes walk from main market and bus stand. Only had breakfast here so can't comment on the food. Room was well maintained and toilet was hygienic, running hot water was available. Wifi was functional.

Feel the breeze of love and fulfillment in ambience. This location will fill you with romance or one can realise deep peace, whatever you are looking for. Very approachable from bus station and Mal Road but still very away for crowd and noise of market. With a well furnished room and appetizing food You also get a lawn with swings and chairs to view beas river and snow covered mountains. Very satisfying and affordable hotel...

Manali is a Valley nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley, at an altitude of 2,050 m (6,726 ft) in the Beas River Valley. Talking about the hotel, this hotel is at an amazing location as the view from the room is amazing and refreshing. Rooms were spacious and clean and the staff here is also friendly and nice. Food: Nice varieties of items in the menu with reasonable pricing and taste amazing too. The only good food I had in manali was cooked in this hotel only! Conclusion: If you are looking for a budget hotel for staying in manali then this is the one for you. Have a great trip!
